Outline every lemon and leaf
A light oval for each fruit, pointed shapes for the leaf sprigs.
Add a light cross to each lemon
Axes through every oval; a tick where each stem nub sits.
Mark the cut faces and nubs
An inner circle for each cut half, small dots for the blossom ends.
Draw the details lightly
Segments in the cut faces, leaf veins, gentle bumps on each rind.
Commit the clean line
Erase the axes; keep segments, stem nubs and every leaf.
Fill the lemons with yellow
Flat lemon yellow, paler cut faces — leaves stay pencil for now.
Flat-colour the whole scene
Green leaves and the patchwork background — still no shading.
Render with thick paint strokes
Impasto dabs, grey-blue shadows under each lemon, warm highlights.
