Block in the simple shapes
Round head, small body, waving paw — light pencil ovals only.
Add light guides and ticks
Face cross, eye line, full-size eye circles — keep every mark faint.
Draw the features on the guides
Big eyes on the line, whiskers, head stripes — guides still show.
Commit the clean outline
Erase the guides; keep eyes, toe beans and the curled tail.
Lay the flat colours
Grey fur, cream tummy, pink ears — fill the black eyes too.
Add shading and highlights
Darker grey on the right side, soft glow, shadow under the cat.
