Draw the fluffy outer shape
Pointed ears, soft cheek fur, the wide chest tuft — outline only.
Add the face cross
A level eye line and a vertical centre line, both kept faint.
Place the features on the cross
Two big eye circles on the line, nose and mouth ticks, whiskers.
Draw the real features
Round eyes with pupils, inner-ear fur, the tiny nose — stay light.
Commit the clean line
Erase the cross; add the puffy butterflies around the cat.
Colour the face first
Warm brown head, pink ears, blue eyes — body stays pencil.
Lay flat colour everywhere
Blue background, pink butterflies, cream chest — no shading yet.
Finish with soft shading
Gentle volume on the fur, fluffy chest tufts, deeper blue eyes.
